Wordsmithing – the sometimes clever arrangement of words in random but meaningful patterns, sometimes employing rhyme, rhythm, meter and other conventions often associated with “poetry” and other forms of writing, but not necessarily, because wordsmithing isn’t poetry. Wordsmithing is about what’s left when you take the word poetry away. Wordsmiths don’t write poems. Wordsmiths write words.
